Jameson does a captivating job of capturing the feeling, and his song is actually from his own experience; that being one of his love at first sight for his wife- Jenna, who co-wrote the song. The song does its magic, transporting you into this scene of dancing at a party and seeing someone who you just instantly fall for. It's about putting yourself out there and being ready for love, and it's really beautiful. It’s romantic and pop-y, and with Jameson’s vocals, you are in for a treat. Touch is wonderfully produced and written by Jameson, who does an amazing job of doing so. The track itself is produced so well and the production is something you can tell was very intricate and meticulous, as the song just slots together perfectly. The lyrics are catchy and relatable, and the chorus itself has you jumping around and dancing. Though, the bridge is absolutely stunning with Jameson’s vocals. It takes almost a choral note, and the layered vocals in the background add so much to the song itself. It’s genuinely heaven in your ears. “Meet Me on the Lake” by Emma Miller deals with loss, grappling with grief while learning to accept the loss without moving on entirely. It’s very aptly structured; the melody and production amplify the aforementioned themes while maintaining a dreamlike soundspace. The song is hauntingly beautiful, demonstrating Miller’s artistic prowess while retaining its artistic integrity. The song is ethereal and slightly melancholy. Space Nat recently released her latest single titled "Fish Tacos," a piece about remembrance of the good and the bad. Love for yourself can sometimes be a hard thing to achieve. There are so many factors that can play into that love that we desire to feel for ourselves. The beginning of that is understanding and coming to a conclusion that there is an issue, and to take that challenge head on. This is the topic of singer Sarah Anne Fernadez's new track "Drowning." In the track, Fernandez takes her emotions head on. The track has a dreamy instrumental, featuring drums, synths, piano, and some strings. The synths sound almost aquatic, playing off of the theme of the track. The cymbal hits, remind the listener of the feeling of breaking through the surface of the water. However, at the forefront of the track, Fernandez's magical voice flows over the surface of the instrumental. Her voice is beautiful, and ridiculously powerful when that chorus hits. The lyrics delve into topics of self doubt and self love. Fernandez croons over the chorus "When will it ever be enough // I'm drowning // Under my tough exterior // Feel so inferior to all that I see." She discusses how she feels on the inside, and how things around her have caused her to feel less. She then questions whether it's herself holding her emotions back, "When will I finally be, enough for me?" That's a question Fernandez leaves to answer for herself. Sarah Anne Fernandez is a multi-talented actor and singer. "Drowning" is Fernandez's first original single of 2022. She previously released a pop-punk cover of Olivia Rodrigo's "deja vu." Your single “Dark” is the perfect way to show off your incredible, powerful vocals!! What is the story behind this song and what inspired you to write it? Maria: Thank you so much! I wrote "Dark" while going through tough relationships with friends and people I thought loved me. I was in a lot of pain and it motivated me to express that in a song. When did you start performing and writing your own music? Maria: I have been singing at open mics and restaurants for a couple years now but this past year is when I started professionally. I just recently performed at the Life is Beautiful Festival which was my first live performance as an independent artist. I was listening to some of your covers on your IG and they are soooooo good!! What cover are you most proud of thus far? Maria: Thank you so much!! I love singing covers but I would have to say that I'm most proud of my "Drivers License" cover. The lingering feelings after a romance and wanting to create a coincidence to reminisce are brought together through her lyrics and the artistry within the single.. Beginning with a pattern of staccatos, the song quickly picks up into a pop rock sound. The guitar and drums create a solid foundation for the rhythm of the vocals. Before the chorus the vocal rhythm accentuations the lyrics being sung, with a pause after sections that accentuates their meanings. The chorus picks up the overall feel of the song bringing in more of the rock aspects of the song, especially within the instrumentals of the song. The new rhythm brings together the rock pop feel of the song through the increased use of the guitar and drum aspects. While the song continues through with a similar feeling through the song Lindsays lyrics shine through the instrumentals encouraging listeners to pay attention to their meanings.
