2026 is a brand new year for brand new music, and brand new concerts! If you’re like
me, you’re already planning your next festival. But what’s the best festival to go to?
Today we explore 5 festivals in the US to hopefully help you make the perfect decision
for 2026!
5. Newport Jazz Festival - Newport, RI
First up is the Newport Jazz festival based in Newport, RI. This fest is beloved by locals
and tourists alike for catering to jazz, folk, and Americana fans across the country. The
festival features jazz musicians from around the globe, local food, and gorgeous
scenery in Fort Adams State Park. Headliners haven’t been announced this year yet,
but past artists have included Jacob Collier, Janelle Monae, and Raye. If you love
classic or modern jazz and everything in-between, this is the fest for you!
4. Rolling Loud - Orlando, FL
Next up is Rolling Loud, the world’s largest hip hop festival that tours the globe. Based
in Orlando this year, this three-day party is bringing the heat. This year, Don Toliver,
Playboi Carti, and NBA Youngboy are headlining the show alongside many more artists,
aiming to inspire and entertain from beginning to end. Festival goers have described
Rolling Loud as the best fest to discover new music and make new friends, and who
doesn’t love that? If you love hip hop, definitely consider Rolling Loud for your next fest.
3. Coachella - Indio, CA
If you’re looking for the “it” festival that has it all, Coachella is your place to be. This
multi-weekend fest features the world’s most popular artists year after year, spanning
nearly every genre. From pop to rock to hip hop, Coachella has you covered. It almost
feels like a rite of passage just to be there. The fest has become trendy online as a way
to showcase fashion, socialize, and share a sense of community with other festival
goers. This year, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G are headlining. So, what
are you waiting for? If you’re on the West coast, you have to experience Coachella at
least once!
2. Sonic Temple - Columbus, OH
Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio is more-or-less the premier rock festival of the
Midwest. From pop punk to heavy metal, this four-day fest is jam-packed with
entertainment. This year, headliners include My Chemical Romance, Tool, and Bring Me
the Horizon among tons of other artists. Sonic Temple is a chance to embrace your
younger years, dress how you want, and step outside of reality for a short time. It’s a
great choice if you want to see all of your favorite bands at a reasonable cost.
1. Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) - Las Vegas, NV
If you love EDM and you haven’t heard of EDC, where have you been? This is a three-
day fest based in the Las Vegas Motor Speedway that’s all about EDM, techno, and
trace. This year’s lineup hasn’t been released yet, but last year, big name artists like
Illenium, Alison Wonderland, and Tiesto played the festival. It’s definitely a big deal!
Besides the festival, traveling to Las Vegas is always a great time, so this could give
you a reason to explore the area. Definitely check this one out if you’re a fan of EDM or
you just want to experience something new and vibrant.
