Q: This song is so upbeat and fun! What is the meaning behind it?
Faith: This song is about being in a relationship and that partner cheating. This is about the realization of this and saying I'll do better and they'll regret it.
Q: What is the songwriting process like for you?
Faith: The songwriting process I would usually go for is hearing the track, choosing a topic and writing lyrics. For this track, I had a few lyric and melody ideas saved in my notes for ages and thought it was time to give them a whirl ! I sent them off with a few song inspirations and then wrote the rest of the song to the incredible track that was created.
Q: If you had to pick a favorite song, which one would it be? You can only pick one!
Faith: I always say I never have a favorite song! And that is true I can't possibly pick just one. But at the moment I am loving Hurricane Ella Henderson, Ofenbach.
Q: Who are some of your biggest musical influences?
Faith: Some of my biggest musical inspirations currently are artists like Becky Hill, Talia Mar and Chung Ha. These ladies are true inspo for the style of music I love and want to create.
Q: What do you like to do when you’re not writing music?
Faith: When I'm not writing music, I'm probably sleeping, eating or finding the next k-drama to watch. I have also just gotten back into musical theatre, so you'll probably find me there too! Always finding my way back to a stage.
Q: What inspires you to continue creating music?
Faith: The fact that people enjoy listening to my music definitely inspires me to keep doing it. I also love how natural it feels and the feeling I get when I step into a studio.
