Love shines the brightest, among anywhere George Pearson has traveled, in his latest single “All I Want.” The musician finds his world in his partner, despite his childhood in Edinburgh and visits to California and Dubai. He sings, “All that I want is a life/ where I come home to you every night.” The charming confession sounds like a cursive-written love letter in The Notebook. Pearson’s latest single is a vow to cherish the light in his life and to create the same warmth in their life.

Dreamy chords and folk strings recreate a timeless love story. The strumming pattern resembles the fantastic, starry-eyed awe in Taylor Swift’s “Enchanted.” Love and streams of light fill the air as gentle synth pads flow in the background. The match between the passionate guitars and soft synths blend like carving your initials into the bark as willow branches sway. It’s powerful and overwhelming. Pearson creates the classic ballad.

The Scottish singer and songwriter, Greg Pearson, has a talent for tender folk music. With slow tempos and acoustic strings, his discography consists of romance. His debut single “These Walls” landed on BBC radio in 2019. His second single “Heart of a Lion” (2017) captured attention, leading him to perform at the Dubai World Cup. Since then, Pearson has opened for Lewis Capaldi, OneRepublic, Demi Lovato, and Bastille.
