If you are looking for an upbeat track that displays messages of self-control and power, then KUSHYKUSH’s newest single “Don’t Call Me No More” is for you. Relationships are inevitable to be repeated no matter the history or issues it had before. As individuals grow love for one another and issues take place we often look past those issues and think of the positive. This leaves us wanting and hoping the other person has changed this time around. But we are often failed by our thoughts and belief in the other. We get so caught in how amazing they are but fail to remember it only lasts so long. “Don’t Call Me No More” is such a strong track that reminds us we have the power to leave those behind who don’t deserve us.

“Don’t Call Me No More” opens with a catchy guitar instrumental tone that catches your attention instantly. I enjoyed all the sounds in this track as they gave the feel for a compelling mood. The instruments and sounds also made the track super influential as they were steady and strong throughout. Their voice was also so electrifying with the most vulnerable and real lyrics. I really loved how this song overall took a hard topic and emotion and turned it into something so forceful. While the track was upbeat, I feel like those elements really made it super relatable and something anyone who listens to can resonate with.

KUSHYKUSH is a singer/songwriter from London, United Kingdom. They released their debut album May 1, 2025, titled “Don’t Call Me No More.” This track explores the hard truth that no matter how terrible an ex-partner feels it’s never an excuse to go back. But rather a reason to move forward and find better and never look back. This single is just the beginning of their musical journey filled with pop elements and life experiences.
