Dating is so confusing nowadays. There’s so many layers that lead up to defining the relationship, if it even builds to that point. It gets more confusing when you’re so set on someone and they push and pull leading you to question whether they want to be with you or you’re just temporary entertainment. It’s a mess that’s hard to navigate and confront. Natasha Rose just released a new song off her debut EP called, “Don’t Waste My Time.” The song explores the frustration of being in an uncertain relationship where one person sends mixed signals and avoids commitment. The track is built on emotional lyricism and catchy melodies that have you dancing the irritation away. It’s the perfect song if someones wasting your time.
Natasha wrote “Don’t Waste My Time” to emphasize her desire for honesty. Demanding an answer to the question of what we are. There’s so many people out there who fear commitment and that is valid and okay, but it is problematic when you’re ready to open your heart to something big. “Always say you’re mine while you’re halfway out the door.” You’re either ready or you’re not, there’s no in between to sit in. With poppy snaps, layered harmonies, fun guitar riffs and textural synths, “Don’t Waste My Time” will be stuck in your head before it ends.
