The city of dreams is not always what it seems when we try to find peace in the promises it makes. We'll say goodbye to comfort and everything we know to find the reality we feared would stay stuck in our heads. The people around us may have a hard time understanding the complexity of our minds, and we're ready to constantly do the unpredictable to take even ourselves by surprise. Drew Patrick has us reflecting on our journey as we find our way to explore the deeper meaning to life. It's hard to say goodbye to the place we have always known towards an adventure filled with uncertainty, but our design will remain unclear until we venture towards a new path to explore the complexity of our own minds.
A nostalgic and peaceful melody greets us warmly as Drew's gentle, yet expressive voice takes us into the tranquil ambience of "elucidate." He reflects on the past where he left at a young age to the city of dreams that turned out to be a nightmare. He became an open book with thoughts too complex to read. The efforts he made to achieve something more was filled with destruction that left him torn at the seams. He said goodbye to a familiar life towards the peace he hoped to find in a new journey. His voice blends in beautifully with the gentle electric guitar as he continues to reflect on the person that resulted from the new experiences he faced. Drew Patrick's "elucidate" is a song that will truly leave us thinking about our journey in life as we try to understand ourselves along the way.
Drew Patrick is a singer and songwriter from Los Angeles who knows how to connect with an audience through his impactful lyrics and sentimental songs. He attended Berklee College of Music where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Songwriting and had written and executively produced Serotonin, his debut album that began his journey in the music industry. He is an artist who does not shy away from showing his vulnerability and has reflected his thoughts deeply with the depth his songs have traveled to. His journey in the music industry grows with his second album coming soon that will continue to show his talent for songwriting with lyrics that will leave his audience pondering on the deeper beauties in life.
