Singer-songwriter Vendela is back with “Find Me,” the perfect pop song to kick off October. “Find Me” takes the singer’s signature alternative aesthetic to a brand new level. The song is a fusion of dark pop and EDM. “Find Me” is an atmospheric track that creeps onto you with its instant earworm hook and low-key grooves. The song instantly transports you to a late-night smoky dance club. Vendela states that she wanted to create a song for “plunging into a blissful sensual trance dimension,” and she did just that. In every sense, “Find Me” is completely hypnotizing.
“Find Me” accentuates what makes Vendela so singular as an artist. The track highlights the artist’s instantly recognizable sound and aesthetic. She has an undeniable, charismatic presence. She juxtaposes her fun, playful attitude with a shadowy aesthetic. It results in a song that is equally moody and vibey.
