Salt Lake City-based artist Robin Swann is back with her third single of this year, "flaunt you"--and it's her most personal yet. "flaunt you" is a glimmery, pop-EDM fusion with an important message. The song describes a struggle so many LGBTQ+ individuals face: wishing you could openly express being in love with your partner but having to hide it. Robin is an intricate songwriter, finding inspiration amongst the likes of Taylor Swift. She conveys multifaceted emotions of love and isolation with a beautiful earnestness. "flaunt you" is a relatable, heartbreaking, and gorgeous ballad from Robin.

"flaunt you" utilizes EDM and lo-fi aesthetics. Robin and producer Xander Lee work together to make a track that has a classic bedroom pop vibe--down to the fact that it was even recorded in Robin's bedroom. Robin's soft vocals pair well with the airy instrumental that gradually grows as the song progresses. The track is undeniably catchy. Robin says she's "always been keen to encapsulate a specific feeling or emotion with [her] lyrics," and that is prominent in "flaunt you." The lyrics hold such a weight to them. From Robin's candid lyricism to her expressive delivery, "flaunt you" packs a strong emotional punch.

Robin Swann is an up-and-coming artist from Salt Lake City. She graduated from Brown University, where she met her now frequent collaborator Xavier Lee, and soon began officially releasing music. In 2021, Robin debuted with "Take My Hand," and has since released five other tracks including "illuminated" and "heartbreaker." She has amassed over 15,000 streams on Spotify alone. Robin's music places a strong emphasis on songwriting. Her lyrics are vulnerable and always come from a strong point of view. Robin's career is only just beginning, and you can listen to her discography, including "flaunt you," on all streaming platforms now.
