Taylor Piggott knew exactly what he was doing when he made this song. Each line is clearly drenched in sincerity, hope and love. As someone who recently lost a close relative, I can't begin to explain how beautiful "Heavens Not Ready For You" truly is. The artist paints a vivid picture of what it looks like to process hard situations, while also holding to the hope and light in the midst of the situation. The chorus says, "This is me telling you / You're gonna be better soon / The world's a little too cold when you are gone / So this is me telling you / You're gonna be better soon / You're gonna be better soon / Heavens not ready for you." Having this positive mindset allows us to relate with Taylor Piggott, we can understand the desire he has for his mom to get better. My favorite line from the song says, "Not gonna cry / I keep my head held high / In this moment there's no need to be scared at all / We're born to die, no one's dying tonight / There's plenty more in this life to be explored." Sometimes when we're faced with these hard life situations the comfort is less for the other person and more for us. We can see that through Taylor, in these lyrics.

By having the acoustic guitar, soft piano, and what sounds like subtle string instruments, we're able to connect further because of the sincerity they add to the lyrics.
