“Middle Man” is the latest single from Chloe Jane, a song about the mental exhaustion that comes with having to constantly be the mediator for other people. The most common example of this is resentful parents; having to be around two people who fight all the time is tiring, especially when you’re expected to come between them and solve their disputes for them. Chloe says she wants to move away from them if this keeps happening, because she’s done with being “everyone’s unpaid therapist”, as she said in an Instagram post promoting “Middle Man”. She expresses that she needs to live her own life and separate herself from her tense family.
The production of “Middle Man” is powerful and upbeat, with its fast-paced synths and electric atmosphere. The immaculate vibes are reminiscent of partying at a crowded nightclub, while still having a modern pop sound. The intertwining of genres make the song fun to listen to over and over again, which explains why “Middle Man” is so addictive. This is supplemented by Chloe’s incredible singing abilities, which amplify all the elements of the production and the message of the lyrics. The echoing effect of her vocals add on to the aura of this single even more, making it multilayered and complex, showing how much work was put into it.
It’s without a doubt that Chloe Jane is a star in her own right. Both a virtuoso and skater, she often ties her roller skating and figure skating skills with her music in creative and original ways. Her studio career began in November 2022 with the release of her debut single “Addicted”. Two years later, she released her debut EP Dance Floor Emergency, shortly followed by an album with remixes of the tracks. Chloe’s discography is filled endlessly with amazing singles, which will be continued with the upcoming release of her next song “Feel The Love”, and later on, her debut album Princess of the Night. Chloe Jane is a fantastic artist!
