Breaking up with someone that you really care about and still love is a pain no one can warn you about. Whether the relationship went bad on both ends or just one you still feel like something is missing from your life. A million thoughts race through your mind like what are they doing right now and do they miss me. It’s the most normal thing one can think about when losing someone they never thought would go. But it’s also something that seriously hurt your well-being. Hallie Marie released her brand new single “Pure (Don’t You Still Remember?)” on May 21, 2025. This song reminds us that thinking about all the what if’s before and after a relationship is normal. Feel everything you possibly can the pain, anger, sadness and hatred because it’s the one thing that will heal you in the end.
The track opens up with the most beautiful acoustic guitar being played. I was immediately hooked as slow but vibey instrumentals are my absolute favorite. Her vocals were also terrific, she sang so passionately at every single lyric. There wasn’t a moment where you couldn’t feel how deeply this song meant to her. Everything about this song was great but I really loved how vulnerable and honest it was. There was so many moments where I could relate to it, and I did not hesitate to add this song to my moody vibe’s playlist. While it’s a track about losing someone you love the mood was so inspiring.
Hallie Marie is a singer/songwriter from Denver, Colorado. She is a brand-new artist to the music industry with her first release back in January titled “Indebted.” While she has only a few songs out right now they are all authentically her. In everything she creates she makes sure to add elements that not only her listeners can relate to but to also showcase her life experiences. Her music falls under that of the alternative indie/folk genre as she draws inspiration from artists like Billy Joel and Sufjan Stevens. I highly recommend listening to her brand-new song “Pure (Don’t You Still Remember?).” Be sure to also follow her social medias below and follow along to see what else this talented artist has for us next.
