Runnin’ High is synthy-pop rave material with dreamy vocals that deliver a surge of light romance through echoing lyricism. Reverberation of lyrics like “you and I” put emphasis on the two and creates an occasion that isolates them from the world. This is followed by “in the night, I need you” and an assertion of their togetherness to showcase their shared, exhilarating connection. Noting “no looking back,” and “don’t think twice,” the artists are “Runnin’ High” and charged with adrenaline for a message that shimmers with late-night enchantment given the fragility of their relationship. TheProfessR, Shivani, and Outertone provide an account of a summery love that spikes adrenaline with an upbeat melody and entrancing vocals to deliver a stellar sound.
