Do you ever feel like you need to fit society's idea of perfection despite the urge to crack it at the seems? It’s a hard line to walk and balance on. If you break some will see you as weak despite the strength it fuels at the end of the day. Loviet’s new single “STIFFY” harnesses that tension between a breaking point and the false projection of having it all together. It’s full of angst with a nostalgic punk vibe honing in on the sound that inspired Loviet to start making music. She draws heavy influence from indie-rock names such as Kings of Leon, Jimmy Eat World and The Killers. If you’ve been craving that early 2000’s Punk, “STIFFY” is a must listen.

"STIFFY" blends electric guitars, hard-driving drums, catchy bass and smooth raw vocals. It's the anthem for the ones who balance wearing a mask and can't help but strip it off completely. Being bare and real is scary to most, but it's so necessary if you want people to see the real you. Loviet states “I wrote this song about playing devils advocate, and the feeling of being misunderstood. I wear all my feelings on my sleeve and have a big problem with the too cool, care less culture that were all trying to navigate.” This is her reintroduction to rock and she wanted it to pack a punch just like any other male in the genre. She's proving females can dominate the punch scene.

Loviet is an up and coming artist based in Canada. She’s been establishing herself within the industry for over six years now with her catchy and cathartic lyricism. Her talent has brought her many amazing opportunities to play festivals such as Lollapalooza, Summerfest and Ottawa Bluesfest. Loviet is truly a pop-punk icon in the making. Her EP “The Nighttime is all in the Timing” was named Music Nova Scotia’s Rock Recording of the Year in 2024. Along with that award, she also received Breakthrough Artist of the Year in the East Coast Music Awards. Loviet has a bright career ahead of her so follow the links down below to stay up to date with her releases.
