Artists Colby and Jady have come together to present their new single "Take What You Want," a dark alternative pop anthem that perfectly explores complex relationships to the sound of addictive beats. The beginning keeps a steady pace and the singing in this section stays sweet and determined. When we get to the first chorus, we get a better taste of the emotional intensity the artist is capable of. The chorus has the kind of explosion you want to stand up and jump and dance to. It has a dark energetic drive. The second verse may slow the song down once again, but the energy is not lost. As both singers combine forces in the second chorus, the final piece is set in and it's powerful. The bridge is dynamic, and it's really cool to see the post chorus breakdown that takes on a unique production style.

Colby is a young artist originally from Texas who has been making a name for herself for some time now and has been making music since she was 14. From a young age, Colby has had a creative drive and is inspired by artists like Amy Winehouse and Gwen Stefani. Additionally, she has received praise from both Fault Magazine and Galore Magazine. Colby is currently set to go on tour this fall with Jady. Jady is a musical duo made up of Ashton Bergdorf and Jarrett Doherty. Their style consists of alternative pop that also mixes in elements of rock and R&B. Overall, "Take What You Want" has an edge in its energy, and nice to see a collaboration from two different artists have such a successful outcome.
