Review: "We Both Know" - Jesabel

Jesabel’s new single titled “We Both Know” is the perfect love song with dreamy lyrics and her tender vocals. The song is about fighting for the person you love even when times may get a little rough. Every relationship has their battles and more than often with the intense power of each other’s love the good always outweighs the bad. When there is love present in any relationship it’s hard to find ways to not be together. It can get extremely hard at some points and there will be times where it may seem easier to part ways. But there is always another outcome because as frustrating as this point in the relationship is not being with your person is a pain like no other.
“We Both Know” opens with a euphoric melody immediately following her lovely vocals. Her voice is so enchanting especially with the way she carries her vocals with lyrics like “We both know” and “Yes, you’re mine.” Everything about this song caught my attention immediately. I really enjoyed how it was a love song, but it did so in a bright, warmhearted way. I thought the instrumentals played a huge role as well with the guitar and drums being played so nostalgically. Both of these elements really set the passionate but hopeful mood throughout the whole track.
Jesabel is a singer/songwriter who was born in Georgia but now resides in Jacksonville, Florida. Her journey is unique but inspiring as she taught herself how to sing and play the guitar after losing herself with the scary pressure of new motherhood. She released her very first track in 2020 releasing music regularly after that until 2022 when she took a break. “We Both Know” is her latest single which brings us a beautiful message about love that she released while living in Paris, France. Jesabel is creating a wonderful musical career for herself while making sure to create each and every one of her songs with so much life.
