“Who’s Your Angel Now” is the latest single from colby!, a song in which she wonders if her former significant other has already moved on, and if someone else has taken her place in his life. Leaving a serious relationship where they shared a deep romantic connection caused colby! to have a crisis, feeling abandoned and losing a sense of her self-identity. The thought of her ex falling for someone new is causing her to think that she put up a facade while they were together just to appease him. She wanted to continue being an “Angel” for him, and has mixed feelings on this not happening anymore.
colby! stepped into the studio wanting to create a musical sound different from anything she has made before, and she executed her vision flawlessly. Retro instruments and drum beats are blended with modern pop synths and vocal effects, making “Who’s Your Angel Now” a distinct and timeless addition to her discography. This song truly is nothing like you’ve ever heard before, as you listen to a vaporwave atmosphere that also holds space for alternative additions, both of which manage to go perfectly together. Everything is tied together with amazing vocals from colby!, which present amazing harmonies throughout the single.
colby! is a music artist from Texas. In May 2024, she began her career after perfecting her craft of singing and songwriting with the release of her debut single “Don’t Know What To Say”. Later that year, she released her debut EP Dead Giveaway. She recently opened for music artist Natalie Jane for her The World I Didn’t Want Tour, giving stupendous live performances throughout the United States and Canada, and she is set to continue this throughout Europe for the rest of April and during May. It’s without a doubt that Colby! is an incredible artist, putting meticulous hard work and effort into all of her immaculate music!
