Q: 'TWEET' is such a catchy song! What is the meaning behind it?
TAURIE: Song is about a young person about to 'fly out' into the world but nervous and anxious, wondering if they will make it. Momma birdie encourages them to keep trying and pushing ahead. This song means a lot to me as a support song coming from moms, families and loved ones that show support to younger people trying to make it in life.
Q: What does the songwriting process look like for you?
TAURIE: Songwriting comes pretty easy for me. I pull from anything, an emotion, an event or incident around me, a conversation, a beat or even a thought. I can typically write a song as I am listening to a beat, and write as I hum to the beat. I get lost in the moment.
Q: How did you decide what to include in the visuals for the video?
TAURIE: When I started writing the lyrics, I visualized it symbolically as birds and it kind of stuck, so I went with it. Both the lyrics and the video concept came to me about the same time.
Q: What is one of your favorite parts about being an artist?
TAURIE: The freedom of expression, imagination and creativity. Four parts, but they are all joined together each time I wonder why I do what I do.

TAURIE: TWEET.
Q: What are you most looking forward to in terms of your music?
TAURIE: Writing and releasing my songs. The ability to create something that has meaning to me is unmatched, and then sharing it with my fans that appreciate my work is very humbling to me.
