Review: "All Over The Place" - Jordie

Jordie’s new single, All Over The Place, is an upbeat adult contemporary, pop song about romance. It’s plain and simple. You want to sleep with someone you find attractive. I think many of us can relate to that insatiable desire. Have you ever heard of the 16 human desires? I’m not going to list them all, but one of them is romance. Studies have shown it is one of the major things that drives human behavior and influences our decisions. Well, I like to think that I taught you all something new today, but I don't think I did. Anyway, let’s just move on…

All Over The Place packs a punch and makes a lasting impression in just 2 minutes and 25 seconds. It immediately grabbed my attention with a robot-like vocal glitch effect which fit the song’s overall unique sound. In the chorus, she sings “I wanna be in your head, on your bed, all over the place. I want you to lose your breath everywhere when you envision my face.” There are explicit lyrics so will hear inappropriate language, but it works so well. I absolutely love explicit music (as long as it’s not every single word) and sexy music because I love the edginess. It’s giving major pop girl vibes and I am here for it!

Jordie is a musician based in Los Angeles, California known for her infectious, rhythmic melody and dynamic, emotional lyricism. She is influenced by many artists including Rihanna, Marc E. Bassy, and Maroon 5. Her music is authentic and genuine having dealt with anxiety, relationships, and any other kind of emotion you can think of.  If you’re interested in hearing more from her, she released two other songs, “Cry Again” and “Veins”, this year, but her entire discography dates back to 2023.
