Ellise just concluded Act II of the PRETTY EVIL tour in San Diego. This headlining tour contained two legs: one in Summer 2025 and one in Winter 2026. I had the honor of attending both acts, hearing the new setlist, and experiencing the singer’s phenomenal stage presence. In just five short months since I saw her in Los Angeles, Ellise had already grown immensely. The first show was already magnetic, showcasing her unmistakable talent. However, seeing the closing night of Act II astonished me even further. The confidence overflowed from the stage, causing a ripple effect in the crowd. Ellise is made for stardom, and seeing her live is a must for all music lovers.

Ellise kicked off the night with “KEROSENE,” a track from the deluxe version of her 2025 album, PRETTY EVIL. Immediately, I knew the show would be different from Act I because this was newly added to the setlist. Everyone in the crowd lit up, singing and dancing along to the infectious track. In the bridge, Ellise hit the first of many impressive high notes of the evening. The audience went wild from her powerful voice, successfully starting the show off with a bang.
The show continued with a mix of tracks from the first leg and different tracks added to this leg. When she sang her older song, “Chaotic,” I remember feeling mesmerized by her vocal riffs, left stunned by her impeccable control. This vocal control was displayed further in her cover of “Dangerous Woman” by Ariana Grande. This is not an easy artist to cover, due to the nature of her soulful voice. However, Ellise performed the best cover of any Grande song I have ever heard. She blew away the audience and proved she is destined for the major leagues.
As the final night of the show, Ellise wanted to provide something special for her fans. She delivered one of the most requested surprises. She brought out her best friend and frequent collaborator, Ashley Sienna, to sing their song, “DOLLFACE.” The pure joy in the two artists’ eyes as they reconnected after months spread across the crowd. Everyone danced and sang along as Ellise and Sienna performed the song like two (talented) friends at karaoke – happy, lighthearted, and carefree. On a night full of dark, miserable tracks about betrayal and murder, this was a nice break for everyone to let loose.
Closing night in San Diego was the official transition from PRETTY EVIL to Ellise’s upcoming EP. In honor of this, she sang four songs from this new project, including her latest single, “Sexxxtapes”. The sensual breakup song has only been out for a few weeks, but everyone already knows every single lyric. This showcases the devotion her fans have for her and how thrilled they are for new music. The three other tracks are currently unreleased, giving the audience a sneak peek into her new era. These four songs are some of Ellise’s best work, and I am excited to hear the studio versions when they are released.
